About Me

I grew up in Bombay, but I relocated to Phoenix in 2007, to the Bay area in 2009, to Austin in 2010, and to Portland in 2019.

I am a Computer Science major by training [link to CV], and I work at Groq. I have had the good fortune of working either full time or as an intern at Google, Microsoft Research, Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), Galois,, and SAP.

I strive to be a generalist [see Portfolio], so although my current work relates closely to compilers and computer architecture, I have also worked on performance optimization in both industry and academia, security (specifically side-channel defenses), and parallel debuggers. I have also dabbled in program verification, programming robots using old (Atmel and Microchip) microcontrollers, and graphic design.

Outside of work, you'll find me clumsily riding my bike around Portland, climbing an indoor wall, trying to juggle, or enjoying a big bowl of ceral. Mmmmm....
